Fronter Administrator

If you have a technician or ICT leader in your school who does not have administrator rights on the Fronter system then they need to attend this course. This course covers all the basic system administration functions and gives you ongoing access to the Fronter support desk.

Fronter Hands On Training

Redbridge Technicians’ and ICT Subject Leaders’ Forum

This will be this term's major event. The ICT Subject Leader and ICT Technicians have a key opportunity to attend the same networking event to discuss together the issues impacting on their roles. The schedule already includes hands-on opportunities with Windows 8; iPad implementation; LGfL content updates; new services from Atomwide; an LGfL2 implementation overview from the Redbridge IT Unit and presentations on Computing in schools; Games-based learning; Cloud technologies and video Conferencing. The day includes presentations from both primary and secondary schools.

The programme is packed with amazingly useful information to ensure that you and your staff are appropriately informed. Please consider sending both your IT technician and ICT leader as this will undoubtedly be a very useful event to attend if you are in anyway involved in ICT in Redbridge schools.

Framework for IT Support (FITS)

Book your ICT Technician and/or Network Managers onto this course to review best practice management processes to ensure your school IT support is efficiently and effectively managed. There is an exam on the second day enabling formal certfication as a FITS Practitioner. Our last course was externally invigilated and the assessor commented, "All of the delegates enjoyed the course, left good feedback and passed the examination all of which is a testament to the excellent way you run your courses."

Fronter training (for 10% discount on annual cost)

Book one of your school Fronter Administrators on to this course - ideally the MLE lead teacher. Fronter want to update schoosl on the latest aspects of their product and if a representative from your school attends you will automatically receive 10% discount on future Fronter bills.
